HI, I’M JEAN.

I help you counteract the effects of daily life, poor posture, injury, aging or repetitive motion. I address the unique concerns of your body and use safe and effective yoga sequences to ease tension in the your back, as well as hips, hamstrings, and inner legs which affect the back.

KIDS YOGA

I am passionate about bringing yoga to kids. I have witnessed how yoga and mindfulness supports the social and emotional learning of children. Check out my experiences.

I assist yogis and athletes (triathletes, runners, bikers, golfers, swimmers, tennis players) of all ages, including children, to alleviate pain, reduce injury, increase focus and flexibility AND get the "extra edge."

STORIES BY GIGI

Writing is an exploration and a discovery of what I can do with the written word and story. Each of my books present a lesson about life, and how to gracefully dance through opposition or sometimes stumble through the bittersweet moments of life.  My hope is to create a worthwhile story that will be read again and again, the reader drawn in by a little bit of hilarity, sometimes mischief, and a lot of relativity.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Yoga is inherently a healing practice, and it can help you feel better physically, mentally and emotionally. Yoga can help you feel younger, stronger, happier and in charge of your life. Specifically, working with me can help you with the strength and mobility of your spine and joy and freedom of movement. Since back pain affects 80% of Americans, I help you use the art of yoga to increase endurance, strength and muscle function of the back, as well as all areas of the body.

RETREATS

Re-treat yourself to a 3-day yoga retreat of renewal, fun, rest and relaxation in different cities around Florida. Previous retreats held at Captiva Island, St. Augustine, Jupiter, Hutchinson Island, Key Largo, and Vero Beach.

I have been practicing yoga for over ten years. It has been my good fortune to have instructors who were always very good and very competent. Having said that, Jean Martin is an exceptional yoga teacher. Her form is outstanding as is her ability to communicate instructions clearly and precisely. She gives step by step directions while always explaining the purpose and benefit of the poses. She emphasizes correct form and safety. And she is diligent in reminding us to breathe.
